3-Day Maasai Mara Safari from Nairobi

Our most popular Maasai Mara safari package. Depart Nairobi, drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Mara, and spend a full day chasing lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant and the plains game — with an optional Great Migration river crossing in season (July–October).

Itinerary

  1. Day 1 · Nairobi → Maasai Mara
    Pickup from Nairobi hotel/JKIA at 07:30. Drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint (photo stop) and Narok town. Arrive Sekenani or Talek Gate for lunch, then afternoon game drive spotting lion, giraffe and plains game. Dinner and overnight at your chosen tented camp.
  2. Day 2 · Full-day Mara game drive
    Sunrise departure with picnic lunch — a whole day inside the reserve searching for cheetah, leopard and — in season — the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner.
  3. Day 3 · Morning drive → Nairobi
    Early game drive for the predators at their most active. Breakfast at camp, then road transfer back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.
